I ran into a tribe battle and it joined in, instant beeline for me hiding in a bush instead of the actual combatants. I'm doing this again though. I refuse to play without permadeath. Forgive the crudeness, I just used MS Paint to try to get the whole map in the pic. Primal permadeath runs became my obsession for a while, completed more than 25 full runs to date. Including a 100% on expert. Countless more failed runs. But speedruns are my favorite, maximizing efficiency while still all only one mistake away from losing it all.

This is a follow up to my previous post about 100%'ing Primal on Permadeath on Normal. I took a break after that, and then got back into in about a month ago. I did a 100% Permadeath run on Hard, and then on Expert. First try on Expert failed in a sudden random Udam double tap on me around 50%.
I'm not using any HUD except the crosshairs for the bow, updates on what I get off a dead body, and detection metre. I don't want to use the health HUD even though I'll have the fatigue bar I have to worry about so I'll just hunt a lot and eat a lot to keep the bar up when not by a bedroll.

If you are going to have that then it should at least have a charge limit or a "can only be used for X hours at a time" or whatever. And then you add a Fulgurite option to temporarily boost that to 55. An option equivalent of a Best Quality Displacer Field. With No overload. Whenever they need it for a whole encounter.
