Thepc doesn't recognize the shifter in its control panel either. After downloading the shifter's control panel I see that the shifter isn't noticed there either. Thesteam app offers a controller interface that can cause problems with racing titles. Try unselecting the global option in the steam app for controller options if it shows that check box marked. To elaborate, open Steam>Settings>Controller>General controller settings and uncheck everything there.
